Wow! We are very impressed by Korean Red's robust growth rate and habit. Blue-green leaves and upright habit make it an impressive specimen in any garden. When cured, Korean Red showcases red-striped wrappers with serious appeal. Korean Red is capable of producing monstrous bulbs. Some of ours are greater than 3" in diameter!

Not much is known about the true origin of Korean Red other than it is widely grown through the Korean Peninsula. It is a staple of Korean cuisine.
